We Salute You Our Hero 

The mind goes numb,

Brain refuses to work,

Lungs pump air,

Heart palpates,

But life seems to stop,

Words fail to express feelings, 

This is how you made us feel,

When you and your wife,

Left us along with twelve other heros,

In the flaming helicopter.

Every death counts, 

Every sacrifice counts, 

Every deed of bravery counts, 

Who are we to judge and say, 

Who was and is the bravest, 

For even one of them, 

Chooseth to abstain from their duty, 

We would not be safe.

You were revolutionary and visionary, 

Bold in action, words and thought, 

If we list them the list'll never end, 

So in few humble words we thank,

For all you have done to make sure, 

We are not only safe but also feel safe.
